I heard a lot of good things about Rook coffee such that once I was I'm the vicinity of Long Branch, I decided to look for the coffee shop.
As a new customer dropping in for the first time, I don't feel welcomed. Associates are so harried; I feel hurried, faces unwelcoming, unsmiling. My open smiling face was responded w a quick perfunctory smile.
The store space is so confined, voices and coffee grinders echoing against the wall that the cashier and I could hardly hear each other.
So, my initial impression could have been influenced by the very setup of the store itself.
I bought 2 bottles of cold brews - traditional style and New Orleans, and a large hot brewed Bali. Bali is OK. Will update review after I tried the colds brew.March 03, 2017
