  Went in search of a "new" breakfast place as a change of pace and came across Amy's Omelette House. What a pleasant surprise - it was awesome! I had a mushroom, ham and cheese omelette which was absolutely delicious. Had the grits which were the real deal. And we share a blueberry crepe which was amazing - served with fresh whipped cream and real blueberries. I can't recommend Amy's highly enough. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone. We will be going again and again. What a find!

  Every time we go the food is delicious and service is good!
  
  My one and complaint is that the past 4 times I've been there, there were so many flies inside the restaurant. On my last visit one even got caught in my hair!! I brought it up to the person at the cash register since she asked how our meal went. . She mentioned to me that they put fly traps every night and that since they are by the beach they are inevitable. She went on to tell me there is nothing more they could do. I wanted to tell her that I do not believe that to be the case. They can definitely do more! I go to many places to eat in Long Branch and I do not have this problem everywhere. Even restaurants that are actually on the beach, I have not experienced so many flies. Anyway it would be very nice if they took care of that because it takes the joy out of eating really good food.
